Abrasipa was founded in 1960, geared towards the ever increasing needs of the metal industry, and at approximately the same time that industrial development started spreading in Brazil.

In the eighties, as the country’s glass sector became more industrialized, Abrasipa developed the first wheels for glass polishing, based exclusively on Brazilian technology.

Abrasipa has always been driven by a desire to develop solutions and new products for its customers. Presently, the company is a leader in the polishing sector, exporting to more than 35 countries, in all continents around the world.
